First Day of Preschool

Ava's first day of preschool has arrived! I'm not sure who is more nervous and excited, her or me.  We woke up early and had a good breakfast.  Talked about how much fun Ava was going to have at school.  Took some pictures and headed out the door.  Once we got there you could tell she was super excited.  She had a little skip in her step and talked the whole way there.  Once we got in there to drop her off, it was a little bit of a blur.  Ava did great, kissed everyone good-bye, took the teachers hand and she was off.  She never looked back but her mom on the other hand was a wreck.  I had tears in my eyes the whole time, I just didn't know it was going to be so hard.  I guess you don't know until you go through it.  As Ava goes through her first year of school we just hope and pray she learns the self-confidence that will help her go far in this world.  We are looking forward to her journey!

First Day of Dance Class

Ava is in a ballet/tap class this year and she is super excited.  I even gave her a choice this year of tumbling or dance and she picked dance.  It's amazing the difference when they really enjoy doing something.  She definitely loves dance and watching herself in the mirror, our little dancer:) She listened and participated the whole time so we will see how she does the whole year.  Looking forward to watching her shine and having fun!  Can't wait to see her in the recital!  Ava the dancer!

Our New/Temporary House

We moved to Wakefield, a town just north of Melrose.  This is our new house but we are just renting so it will be a temporary stay.  It is definitely bigger then our condo, not sure what to do with all the space.  The girls love the backyard and Cary finally got to buy a grill.  It will be an exciting year!! We are looking forward to our new adventure and cant't wait to see what the future will bring.  God has been good to us and we are so grateful for his blessings.

We headed to Indianapolis to see my baby cousin, Drew get married to a beautiful girl over labor day weekend.  The whole Wolfred clan was there along with the Brewer family.  I love that both sides of my extended family are wonderful friends.  So blessed that I got to see them both.  It was a blast!!  Thank you for a great wedding Drew and Kayla!!

Porter St. SOLD

Our first place is SOLD!!  It's somewhat bittersweet but all in all we are very happy and so blessed!  We had a wonderful Realtor name Jay that helped us through every step of the process.  He made it so easy for us and went above and beyond.  We could not thank him enough! We will never forget all the wonderful memories and traditions we started as family there.  Cary and I had our first Christmas together, brought our beautiful girls home from the hospital, and so many people visit us there.  But one memory that we will always hold close to our heart is Reagan being born in our condo.  This place will definitely be missed but we are looking forward to the new adventure we are starting as a family of four.  We know God has given us all these wonderful blessing and with his love and guidance there will be more.  Here's to more great memories and loving blessings from God!

Frozen dance camp

Ava had her first dance class and it was a Frozen dance class.  Everything Frozen and I mean everything was in this camp.  They watched the movie, had the music playing, and even made Olaf out of marshmallows.  The last day of the camp they had a mini-recital that parents could watch. of course they did their routine to "Let it Go."  It was the cutest thing to watch the girls, it brought tears to my eyes.  I think it was the first time I've seen her practice and then perform.  She did awesome!!  Ava had so much fun and I'm sure she felt like Elsa the whole time she was there.  Where else could you make a wand, crown, and cape?  Only at a Frozen camp!

Last walk around our Melrose neighborhood

We are coming to a close on our first place together and of course we have to do all our favorite things in Melrose.  One of those things that we had to do was walking around the block and downtown. We could walk everywhere, to the park, yoga, the doctor, dentist, get coffee or a bit to eat, and just for fun.  It was so wonderful to live in a city that you could walk to pretty much anything.  We were spoiled and the girls loved it!  The girls and I would spend many days taking walks around the neighborhood and eventually end up at the park.  These are fond memories of our time in Melrose and we will never forget them!  But I know we will have many more in our next adventure together.
