Strawberry Picking at Smolak Farms

It's that time of year again, strawberry picking.  This year we went to Smolak Farms in North Andover.  The
Mokrauers joined us which made for a lot of strawberries at the end.  Ava loved it and kept picking the small
ones because they were so cute.  The best part of the day was being able to make strawberry shortcake for
dessert!  Yummie good! \

Little Gym

Ava had her show day at Little Gym today.  She is a natural on the beam & bars:)  Her favorite part of the class is when they get to jump, tumble, and of course play with the bubbles.  She loves her teacher Ms Amanda & hopes to get her next year.  She will be a Super Beast  & maybe try some dance as a Jazzy Beast.  It was a great year!!!

Terrific Toddler

Ava had her last Terrific Toddler program today until the fall.  I think she is going to miss it!  She had so much fun making crafts, singing songs, and reading books. For Father's Day they colored ties and even got to put stickers on them (see below).  Ava made friends and talks about Leann all the time.  She is going to love school:)  

Last Day in Diapers

Ava had her last day in diapers!  She is a BIG GIRL now!

Swim Lessons for Reagan

Reagan had her first swim lessons are you can say she is a bit of a splasher.  I think we have a future swimmer on our hands.  She absolutely loves the water!  Reagan moves her arms and kicks. I swear if we were not holding on to her she could swim.  She floats on her back and loves to jump from the wall.  The instructor gives her an A+!  You can tell by her face that she is a natural in the water.

Minuteman National Park

Another historical site we saw this weekend was the Minuteman National Park. The park is located 22 miles outside of Boston within the towns of Lexington, Lincoln and Concord, Massachusetts. It commemorates the opening battles of the American Revolution on April 19, 1775 by protecting, preserving and interpreting the significant historic sites, structures, landscapes, events and ideas embodied by these events.  There are many sites along the trail that encompasses much of the start of revolution from where Paul Revere was captured to Colonial Smith's home.  It's amazing that everything began here.

Since it's so long we didn't get to do all of it, made it about half way before we turned back.  We are hoping to finish on July 4th.  Another patriotic holiday, do you see a theme:)
