Easter Weekend

Happy Easter!!! We had a wonderful weekend! It was Ava's first Easter and we spent it getting ready to celebrate Jesus' life and the Easter bunny. We dyed eggs Ava picked pink for her egg color and we set out our Easter baskets. On Sunday we went to Easter mass in our Easter best. Ava looked so pretty in her dress! Then we opened our baskets, ate lots of candy (not Ava), and had our traditional egg fight. Ava won! In between all of the fun we talked to family on skype. All in all it was a great Easter weekend!

Palm Sunday

We started off Easter week with Palm Sunday. Ava received her first palm, as you can see she was thrilled:) She is looking forward to Easter on Sunday since she also saw the Easter Bunny this weekend!

Ava 5 months old

Ava is 5 months old today! She is getting so big:) This month she started solids with rice cereal and is sitting up more and more! She loves her tummy and can even roll from her back to her tummy. Also no more swaddling for Ava, before you know it she will be in her big bed, noooo!
She is such a happy baby and is getting lots of hugs and kisses from mom and day everyday. Ava is becoming such a cute baby girl!

Ava got a new toy today and she absolutely loves it. She is still a little small for it but in a couple of weeks she will be bouncing away. Watch out!

New England Spring weather

We are finally getting nice weather around here. This weekend we took advantage of the local trails and did some hiking. We also got to see a lot of dogs by going pass a dog park. I think Ava had a great time with the fresh air and all the cute dogs. Looking forward to more spring weather!

Ava Started Solids

This week Ava started solids! It was rough going in the beginning but got the hang of it real quick. She loves them now and on to her vegetables and fruits:)
