Halloween

The doggy and lamb went trick-or-treating and came back with a whole bunch of candy.  This year was full of fright and fun.  We started off downtown Melrose where they close down Main St. for the kids to do some TorT around the businesses.  Then a couple of hours later the real neighborhood TorT began.  I knew once we started Ava would not want to stop.  She was having a ball going from house to house.  All she wanted to do was ring the doorbell:)  After it was done of course she wanted to eat the candy.  Her favorites this year were skittles and M&Ms.  A girl after my own heart, sour and sweet! Halloween ended up being a beautiful night, with lots of fun then fright!

Pumpkin Carving

Well we finally carved our pumpkin, I guess you could say that Cary carved it.  With some help form his little helper Ava.  She dove right in putting her hands right in the guts!  Ava wanted a scary pumpkin this year and we all agreed Cary definitely made a scary face.  All Reagan did was walk around.  She would stop every once in awhile to admire Cary's work and then move on.  She was like the foreman:)  It was fun seeing the girls interested in the carving!

Boo at the Zoo

Guess what we went to the Zoo and saw a dog and lamb.  Don't tell anyone but I think they were Ava and Reagan dressed up in there Halloween costumes.  On Sunday we went to the Zoo for the annual Boo at the Zoo and say all kinds of animals!  They had so much fun looking at all the kids dressed up.  Ava made a pumpkin face with Audrey and then went on some exciting rides with her friends.  Reagan just loved watching all the animals, we think she could be have been there all day just pointing and smiling at all of them.  She might be a zookeeper one day:)  It was a beautiful day walking around just enjoying the sunshine and the Halloween activity.  We even got booed a couple of times!

Pumpkin Pies

Ava made pumpkin pies (pretend) at Kidcasso this week.  These pies were more fun pies then baking pies.  She got to mix all sorts of fun things into the pie, from chocolate pudding to kool aid and marshmallows.  Those didn't get very far along with the graham crackers they were eaten before they reach the bowl.  Ava had fun with her friends and I'm pretty they all had a great time mixing everything together.  All Ava kept saying when she would pour an ingredient into the bowl is, "mixing, mixing." :)  It was so cute!  We had a wonderful time making pies!
