Sleepover @ Ogunquit, ME

We spent a couple of days up in Ogunquit, ME with some friends that have a house near the beach, Lisa & Audrey.  They were great hostesses and the girls had such a wonderful time.  Even though we pretty much did everything from going to the beach and getting ice cream.  I think by far was being able to have their first ever sleepover with their friend Audrey.  They loved going to bed, then waking up in the morning and eating breakfast together.  It was a little chilly that day but we still made it to the beach all of 30 mins until we gave up and went for a walk on the boardwalk.  Ogunquit is a beautiful little New England beach town with beautiful restaurants, shops, and candy/ice cream at every corner.  They have trolleys that take people all around town, every time Ava saw one she would say, "Hi trolley" so of course we had to ride one.  Guess where they took us, to get ice cream and candy.  It was another wonderful day spent with great friends.  We are so blessed, thank you Lisa & Audrey!

Concert in the Park

We went to a concert in the park in Lowell, MA with our close friends the Johnson boys!  It actually wasn't a concert but more like a juggler:) Ava had a ball dancing to the music and watching the entertainment juggle knives.  WHAT?!?!?  The weather was beautiful and nice for the kids to run around outside.  Ava wouldn't leave Noah & Kaiden alone, wherever they went she was right there.  They are getting so big!  Reagan joined in on the action with a little dancing of her own.  Always nice to spend the day with great friends!

First Baseball Game for Ava & Reagan

Sunday we took the girls to their first baseball game, Boston Red Sox vs. Arizona Diamondbacks.  It was a beautiful day for a game!!  We took the train down earlier so we could catch some lunch before the game.  It was still crowded!  Boston loves their baseball.  Then we headed to Fenway Park, they got to hear the national anthem and see the first pitch.  We lucked out at little bit with our seats.  We were in the family section and by the 5th inning had almost the entire row to ourselves which let Ava run around.  The seats at Fenway are so close together you practically sit on top of each other but it's so worth it.  I love being at that stadium, you can just feel the history.  The girls did great, they were so entertained by everything.  I even got Ava to cheer for the Red Sox, she knew when they did something great and she even did the wave.  Of course it wouldn't be a baseball game if you didn't get ice cream in a helmet.  I pretty sure this was Ava favorite part!  The Red Sox pulled out a win, they must have known it was Ava and Reagan's first ever baseball game.  The girls are on a winning streak:)

Date Night with Daddy

Friday night it was date night with Daddy.  They got all dressed up and went to see Annie the play at a local theater.  Ava was so excited to be going with her daddy and she even got to wear her sparkle shoes (as she would say).  She had a blast!  Cary said she sat on his lap the whole time and loved the singing & dancing.  What a sweet night to spend with Dad!
