Week with Grandma

Ava and Reagan got to spend the whole week with Grandma after we got back from Hershey, PA.  She drove back with us which made the trip so easy, she was a big help.  Of course, we kept her busy all week. From going to the beach to shopping to Butterfly World and everything in between.  We even went to a family summer festival in Danvers, MA.
The girls got Grandma undivided attention and she definitely spoiled them.  She read them books, bought them clothes, played with them in the water, and taught them new tricks.  Reagan learned to high five!  They also took her to Butterfly World and showed her all the beautiful butterflies.  One thing Grandma couldn't resist while she was here was buying the girls matching outfits.  I would have to admit they looked awfully cute in them!  We love when Grandma comes to visit but it's always hard to say goodbye.  She is absolutely loved by all her grand kids!

Chocolate World

Chocolate World pretty much lived up to the name.  There was chocolate everywhere.  We even got to make our own candy bar.  Ava (her mom) filled hers with to many yummy fillings and it came out lumpy.  What are you going to do:)  We got to watch our bar while it was being made and then we got to create the wrapping.  So much fun!  While we were there we took a tour, I'm sure you can guess, of chocolate!  Another thing Ava got to do was fill a container with kisses, she got a cute hat and apron.  None the kids wanted to leave, who wouldn't it was all day chocolate.  Of course, we ended the day with Hershey ice cream and this time I got a peanut butter sundae.  Woooo Hooo!

Hershey Park

This weekend we went to Hershey, PA for a fun filled weekend with the Mike Brewer family and Papa & Grandma Brewer.  It was a blast!  Friday we went to the park all day, then off to Chocolate World on Saturday.
Hershey Park is a great family place.  They had lots of rides for the kids and enough roller coaster for the adults to have fun.  By the end of the day all Ava wanted to do was ride more rides.  Once she was off one she would say, "another one."  I think one of the best parts is she always had a riding buddy with Nickle Pickle.  Reagan even got to ride a couple of rides, like the train and Ferris Wheel.  Cary and I got to ride a couple of roller coasters together.  Papa Brewer even joined in too by riding the Racer not once but twice.  If you can tell by the end of the night every one was done but we couldn't leave the park without Hershey ice cream.  You know we were at Hershey after all.  Lots of family memories!

Reagan 11 months

Reagan is 11 months today!  She is getting so big; from crawling all over the place and talking more.  Before you know it she will be running around with her big sister.  She is about to pull herself up and loves to do a downward dog pose.  Her exciting trips this month have been to the beach, butterfly place, and the zoo.  Reagan always wants to be doing what Ava is doing and most of the time that's OK because that's all Ava wants to do, "Reagan play with me."  Her favorite foods are apricots, strawberries, and carrots.  Her favorite toy is Mr.Owl and is the only toy she is possessive of, if someone else has him she gets so upset:)  She is definitely getting a personality and knows what she wants.  We are in for it!:) We absolutely adore her and feel so lucky to have Reagan in our lives!

Father's Day at Nahant Beach

Cary wanted to spend Father's Day at the Beach, so that is what we did!  We packed a lunch, grabbed the umbrella, and some food and made the day out of it.  Ava played in the sand and after lunch she jumped in the waves.  It was a little cold but she loved every minute of it!  Reagan stayed on the blankets only to touch the sand a couple of times.  She really didn't know what to do with it but was happy just watching the seagulls.  It was a beautiful day celebrating what a wonderful father Cary is in our lives.  We are all lucky girls!!!:)
