Ava's First Haircut

Ava had her first haircut!  You probably can't tell from the before & after pictures since we didn't get much cut off but she got it cut:) She did so good, sitting on Mommy's lap & letting Tiffany cut away.  She was so excited & just talked the whole time.  I think she is going to love going to the spa when she gets older:) Of course, we had to save some of the curl.  Ava is becoming such a big girl right in front of our eyes.  We love watching every minute of it!

Look who's walking

Reagan took her first steps & I don't think she is going to slow down any time soon:)  To be honest with you this all going to fast for us!  We are so proud of her but I know this is only the beginning before you know she will be running.  Right now she looks so cute when she walks.  She is so concentrated and looks like a gorilla with her arms up.  She is so proud of herself too and always has a smile on her face.  Looking forward to many more of her accomplishments

Apple Picking @ Cider Hill Farm

It's that time a year again, Apple Picking!!  This year we went up to Amesbury, MA to pick some delicious apples on Cider Hill Farm.  They had a great selection and once again we came back with to many apples.  I guess I will be making apple pie for a while, no complaints here:)  The girls had so much fun pulling them off the tree I think that we is we came home with so many.  After picking we enjoyed some apple cider doughnuts, sooooo good!!!  And petted some animals, Reagan really liked the chickens and Ava loved the goats.  A wonderful day for some good old apple picking:)

Chatham, MA

Our second town we visited was Chatham.  We would have to describe Chatham as being your quintessential Cape town, with fresh seafood all day long, small nautical shops, and hearty pubs.  As you can guess we did more walking, shopping, and eating.  Along the way we came across sea lion in the bay, ducks in the window, a working lighthouse.  It was another beautiful day with the sun shining and a nice breeze. The girls loved every minute of it, we think Reagan's favorite part were the seagulls she pointed to each one.  Ava loved just being with Grandma.  Just one of those days that you never want to end!  We are so blessed!

Provincetown, MA

While we were at the Cape we visited some of the small towns that make up the beautiful Cape.  Our first stop was Provincetown.  It's a very colorful town with lots of little shops & eateries.  All these towns have their own little characteristic, Provincetown can be described as being vibrant and carefree.  Obviously it was very historic with one of the first settlements that landed in America.  The day started a little rainy but by mid-day the sun was out on this cute little bay town.  All we did was walk, shop, & eat.  Oh and definitely enjoyed the beautiful day!

First Time at the Cape

We finally got to visit the Cape thanks to Sandy, Aunt Nancy's friend.  She has a beautiful house in Orleans which is about 45 minutes from Provincetown.  We spent each night relaxing at her house since we were so exhausted from all the activity we did each day.  In the morning we would find a different breakfast place before we would head out to see all the beautiful cape towns.  Our last day we finally made it to the beach but not to swim but to put our feet in the water.  It was a gorgeous day just to sit in the sun and watch the waves with no care in the world.  I think it is safe to say we had a wonderful time and hope we can do it again.  Also we were blessed to share the memories with my parents.  The girls loved that they got to play with Grandma & Papa.  Family is Love!
