Cary's Birthday

For Cary's 31st Birthday Ava and I baked a cake and made a sign! He had to work all day but at least he got to enjoy his two girls with a special dinner and some yummy cake. Ava and I sung happy birthday to him while we skyped with Grandma B. He received a card from both of us and had a night out with some friends. Also it was Ava's first family birthday! Looking forward to more birthday celebrations!

Ava's Trip to Downtown Boston

Ava took her first trip downtown with mommy and daddy! She took the T down on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Strolled through the Boston Commons and Gardens on her way to lunch on Newbury Street. She smiled at all the people walking passed her and once she got on Newbury St., it was girl heaven with all the stores. Ate lunch at a nice restaurant and chatted over some drinks, her choice of drink, milk :) After that she strolled back to Boston Gardens with mommy and daddy where they laid out a blanket to play and relax. She loved watching all the people and activity, she saw about 4 beautiful brides taking pictures. Once we were ready to go we just hopped on the T which took us back home! Exciting day in Boston!

Ava 8 months old

Ava is 8 months today! She is getting so big (I know I always say that but she is) :)
She is a happy baby, laughing every day. She loves to be around people and hates it when you leave the room. Her new thing is getting from a sitting position to her belly. Ava is trying new foods and is babbling up a storm. Looking forward to the next month and all that it brings! We are so blessed!

4th of July Weekend

We went to PA for the 4th this year. Granny flew in to meet her newest great grandchildren Everett and Ava. Cheryl and Larry also made the drive. Saturday we walked around Jim Thorpe and then had a beautiful dinner. Sunday we relaxed at the pool and watched some fireworks. Ava had a blast with all her cousins. It was a fun weekend with the family!
