Thanksgiving: Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

This year I cooked my very first Thanksgiving dinner with a little help from my Mother-in-Law!  The turkey was the hardest part but now I know how to cook one:)  Ava named our turkey Bob.  Bob was blessed before we ate him by a little JD.  We had a low key day with cooking and football.  All the cooking was worth it but seems like you cook all day and then you are down eating in 5 mins:)  So glad to have Cheryl with us, we are so blessed and thankful for our family.  Looking forward to many more family holidays!

Happy Turkey

Grandmom's Visit

Grandmom Wise came in for Thanksgiving and the girls had a blast with her.  She played with Ava (a lot) and held Reagan which she loved.  Ava wanted Grandmom to do everything with her, they were like peas and carrots:)  She even taught Ava how to turn the water on and off when she washed her hands.  Grandmom was so nice that she even let Ava play with her phone and sunglasses.  Ava can't wait for her to come back for a visit, we can't either!

Reagan 4 months

Reagan is 4 months today!  No longer a newborn:(  I think I say this all the time but she is such a happy baby.  She smiles even when she is tried and hungry.  Happy happy baby!!  Her new tricks: holding her head up, belly laughing, grabbing toys, and sucking on her tongue. She just brightens a room with her smile, we love her so much!

Sisters Playing

This past month Ava had some fun times with Reagan.  They did tummy time together, played in a box (which Ava laughed the whole time), and read a book on the couch.  Ava loved showing her sister new things to play with and Reagan just smiles.  She thinks Ava is the funniest person on the planet.  Ava can really get Reagan going with a belly laugh.  These sisters are truly going to bestie sissy:)  We love watching them play together.  The next exciting moment is when Reagan becomes mobile.  Ava's world will be turned upside down!

Papa & Grandma Fun

While Grandma and Papa Brewer were visiting for Ava's Birthday we had one last day at the park before the winter weather.  It was the last hooray for the swings, jungle gym, and play cars.  Ava really enjoyed herself and Reagan got out of the stroller for some fresh air.  Grandma and Papa liked cuddling with her:)  It was a beautiful fall day full of laughter.  See you in 2013 Commons, we will miss you!
After the fun in the park Reagan played with Papa and her bunny.  Ava got to fun treat, playing on Grandma's iPad and learned the game "Angry Birds." Now every time she sees one of those birds she says, "Grandma." :)

Mall Tots Birthday Party

We had Ava's friends party at Mall Tots, which is an indoor playground It's full of slides, jump houses, cars, and tunnels.  The theme was ladybugs from one of her books that she likes so much, "Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy."
The kids had a blast just running around.  Ava's favorite thing was playing with all her friends.  She played on the seesaw with Noah, went down the slide with Connor, and played on the jungle gym with Cece. She even got to eat a cupcake after blowing out the candle.  Now every time she sees a candle she says, "Happy" for "Happy Birthday"  It was definitely a happy day with all her buddies there for the celebration!
