Snow + Beach = Fun

We had a weekend in Maine with our friends that have a beautiful house up there.  The weekend was packed full of fun things.  I would have to say though one of the best parts of the trip was playing in the snow and then the next day going to the beach.  How many people say they can do that in one weekend!!! The girls are becoming snow birds and beach bums:)

Peabody Essex Museum

On the last day Grandma was here we decided to adventure out to the Peabody Essex Museum.  I was a nice surprise!!  The girls learned all about nature and did a lot of hands on activities.  They got to make sonar makers and Reagan loved looking at the stuffed animals.  Probably the best part of the museum was an exhibit called Freeport, where Finches land on live electric guitars.  The birds fly around and land on the guitars strings making music. Ava and Reagan loved it! It was a wonderful day spending it with Grandma on her last day before heading back to Cincinnati.

Disney on Ice

Grandma Brewer took us to Disney on Ice while she was here and the girls absolutely loved it!!  Ava sat in here sit the whole time and just took it all in.  Reagan on the other hand danced and clapped along.  All the Disney characters were there.  We even got to see Woody, Jess, and Buzz from Toy Story.  Before the concert we had pizza at on of Boston famous North End spot, the original Pizzeria Regina.  It was a magical Disney day!!

Happy Valentine's Day

We celebrated Valentine's Day this year with valentine and heart cookie making.  What could be better?  Maybe having Grandma Brewer there to celebrate with us!!  We made valentines for all our friends then made heart cookies for all our other love ones.  I was a lovely day:)

Grandma Love

Grandma Brewer came to visit us this winter and is was so great to have her even if was really cold.  We definitely still did a lot along with our normal weekly activities.  She got to watch Ava & Reagan at Little Gym, visit with our playgroup, and see where Ava goes to do ArtBox.  I think her favorite part was watching the girls while I ran errands and when Cary & I when out on a date.  Shockingly it did snow while she was here!!  So we even got a snow day and Grandma got to play in the snow with the girls.  It was a lot of fun to have her in Boston and such a blessing to watch her play with the girls. Grandmas are the best!!!
