Trick-or-Treating

Ava and Regan had a great trick or treating night or should I say Halloween Boo night.  Reagan loved to go around scaring people all day, saying Boo:) We got all dressed up and headed to the old neighborhood.  Where we met up with Callie and Christina. They went to a couple of houses and got tons of candy.  Then we went back to Callie's house and ate some delicious chili and of course candy.  Did I mention they wore their costumes pretty much all day too.  It was an absolutely fun day!

Halloween Parade

Ava had her first school event, a Halloween Parade.  The whole family was there to watch the parade.  She went as Rapunzel and we think she was the only Rapunzel. Elsa was very popular this year.  All the AM classes were there, they paraded in, stood up and waved when they were called, and sang some spooky Halloween songs.  Ava was they very first kid in the hall because she was the line leader that day. She was so excited!  She also got to sit next to her really good friend, Alexis.  They have really enjoyed each other this year, I think she has her first school friend:)  It was a wonderful Halloween parade and this goes without saying so cute!

Carving Pumpkins

The girls had a blast this year helping daddy carve our pumpkin.  They choose pumpkin to be scary mean this year.  As Cary was carving the pumpkin Ava and Reagan drew on their baby pumpkins.  They were so excited they got to help.  As you see they were all into from cleaning the pumpkin to figuring out the design.  Afterwards we got to light it and turn off all the lights to see how it glowed.  Of course the night wouldn't have been completely with some ghost stories, Ava's version:)

Girl Cousins Weekend

The Wolfred girl cousins had another cousin weekend.  It has been five years since the last one and this time we went to Pittsburgh.  We had to see where Kristen has been living:)  She was a great hostess!  We spent Friday downtown walking around the cute neighborhoods, of course we did some shopping and lots of eating.  That night we saw a play at Trent's theater and then went out for drinks.  It was a late night but so mush fun!  Saturday we had a nice and relaxing morning then went on a wine tour called "HalloWine."  During the tour we did a little shopping, saw a Halloween parade, and of course drank some wine.  After the tour we had a fall bonfire.  It was a wonderful night!  The area where Kristen lives is beautiful and we are so glad we got to see it.  Here's to the next girl cousin weekend!

Pumpkin Picking

This year we took the girls pumpkin picking at an actually pumpkin farm.  They picked them straight off the vine.  It was so fun seeing their faces as they were trying to pick the right one.  It took Ava a long time to find a good one.  Reagan found the first one she saw and she was done.  We think they loved the wagon ride since they were laughing the whole way.  The best part for us was seeing their smiling faces.  It was another beautiful day!
